*** UPDATE (4-22-2003) ***
Thanks for all the responses. The camera has found a good home.

I have too many old cameras that deserve better than sitting in a box in my basement. So this camera is free to someone who will actually use it (and not just sell it). I’ll pay the shipping (US only) if you promise to send me a photo taken with the camera.

The camera is a Tower Reflex TLR, probably from the 1950’s. It has a 75mm f3.5 lens made by Walz. It takes 120 medium-format film. Everything seems to work, although the focusing knob is kind of stiff near infinity. This would be a good camera for a student learning photography and developing their own B/W film.

If you’re interested in the camera, write a few sentences telling me about yourself, or why you’d like the camera, or what you’d like to take photos of, etc... Responses do not necessarily need to be astronomy related. Replies should be sent by Monday, April 21st.

Thanks,
Jim

*** UPDATE ***
There has been a lot more response than I expected for this old camera! A few of the responses have started out " . . .I'm sure the camera is gone by now but. . ." To be fair, I'll look at all the responses I receive before making a decision Monday evening. Thanks for all of your interest.
