*** Sold *** Thanks Fred!
(Attn: Jim Myers - I tried to email you twice to let you know it was sold. Sorry!)
The pattern it projects is several concentric circles, which makes the collimation procedure a simple one. You project the image onto a wall or ceiling, and adjust your primary collimation bolts until the shadow of your secondary holder is perfectly in the center of the circles. I paid US$65 for it when I bought it, plus $30 for the hologram, plus shipping. The total just over two years ago was US$110. I'll part with it for US$60 (shipping included) to Can/US. I checked its allignment and it is dead-on. It spends the majority of it's time in a padded case, and has never been dropped. It does have the usual barrel scratches from much use in both my telescopes and those of friends (it is a tool, after all, not a Nagler!)
Selling because my new dob has a 2" focuser and I bought a Kendricks 2" collimator.
Thanks for looking,
