Focuser for a refractor. The chrome steel tube has an ID of 2.7" and a removable alluminum insert reducer to 2". The full travel is 4 7/16". The base is alluminum with a black wrinkle finish. The pinion shaft is brass and the rack is stainless steel. It would slide into a tube (or adapter) with an ID of 4.850" and the base has a flange with an OD of 5" to act as a stop. That 4.850"DIA OD surface is 1/2" wide. This focuser would make for a clean insert into a tube, but it could be mounted onto a flat surface if you choose to do it that way. Fully extended it is 8" from the face of the eyepiece tube to the bottom surface of the base. The crome has no pits and is in good shape. There are a couple of sleeks from the in and out motion of the tube. It has clutches to adjust the tension of travel by adjusting the knobs closer together. It has very smooth action and as much side to side movement as my Teleview Genisis SDF (very tight). The knobs are alluminum, I added them because the original knobs were much smaller, but I will include the originals if you want them.
I am asking $100.00 plus $15 shipping in the 48 states.
I'm sorry I do not have a brand on this focuser. If you would like a photo at a different angle or if you have any questions, please e-mail with them. I would like to be paid by Postal money order. I am sorry this focuser hase been sold. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST>
