The optics on this 6" mirror is absolutely great! I have a 7" Meade Maksutov, and the views from this scope are nearly equal to the Mak 7"!
The mirror was made by Torus Optical, with Beral coatings, supposed to be harder than normal aluminum coatings, with nominally higher reflectivity, 91% vs. 89% for aluminum. The diagonal is a 1" from University Optics, as is the mirror cell and the spyder/holder. Focuser is a 1.25", and I do not remember where I bought it, but it works just fine, no play.
The mount/tripod assy is in great shape, a few nicks and scrapes on the wooden legs, but the head is like new. No motor drives, only the slo-mo extension for ra control. Motor drives are easily had for this mount, as are go-to computers, both new and used.
I put this scope together in 1995 soon after buying a Coulter 13.1, then did not use this scope much after that, especially after buying the 7" mak, which I will be keeping. The tube is made of aluminum with rolled ends, inside is powder coated flat black, and the outside is powder coated in royal blue.
There is no eyepeice or finder for this scope.
