This started out life as a Meade starfinder dob. I bought it with the intention of making a truss style optical tube assembly for my Losmandy G-11, but I find I use my other scopes so much I'll never get around to finishing this project.
The mirror is excelent and is mounted to the original Mead cell (with the collimation adjusting hardware installed). It has been stored in it's original styrofoam shipping container and sealed from the air with a plastic bag. The mirror measures 12.5" X 1 3/4" and I believe they made these from Pyrex glass. The coating is like new with no blems.
The secondary measures 3 3/4" X 2 5/8". It comes with the 2" R&P focuser and the spyder for the adjustable secondary. Actually all that is needed to build a OTA is a sonotube with an ID of 14 1/4". I will supply the dimentions needed to put the holes in the tube for the spyder. This is an F-4.8 so its a nice fast widefeild scope.
I am asking $375 plus shipping and I do take PayPal.
Please e-mail with any questions. I can send more photos if you like.
Sorry, it has been sold, Thanks Michael Burr
