TMB 152/1200 f/8 triplet airspaced SuperED-Apochromat CNC refractor with Scopeguard Case and Tak 8x50 finder. Comes with standard 4" diameter zero shift rotatable baffled focuser and 4" diameter 4" long extension, 4"/2" adapter and aluminum tube rings and finder bracket.

Serial number 017, so about 2 years old. Interferometer test reports are available.

According to APM, without the extension, any binoviewer can be used without a barlow.

This is arguably the finest 6" apo refractor available. I am selling because a recent climbing accident limits the amount of weight I can lift.

New with the Scopeguard case and Takahashi 8x50 finder this would sell for $7785 without shipping.

I'm selling for $5400 with ground shipping CONUS. Payment can be made by cashiers check, money order or PayPal for an additional cost of $100 to cover partial 3% fee. Sells are limited to CONUS.

If you don't want the Tak 8X50 finder the cost will be $5200. I won't sell the Tak seperately.

Scope is in mechanically and optically perfect condition. Cosmetically, there are a few small scratches on the dew shield and rubbing from the inner lens cap has resulted in a slight dulling of the paint on the engraved ring, which in no way affects the optics. (pictures of the engraved ring available on request)

The attached picture shows the TMB on the scopeguard case with a TV 101 on top to show relative size. The TV101 and 2" diagonal below are not included.

Please feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like, I'll try to answer them all. As far as I know I'm the second owner.
