All the innards of an Intes MK67 with the much nicer looking (and faster cooling) black Orion tube. Possibly the finest low-cost maksutov-cassegrain ever designed and built. I’ve put this up against a Tele-vue Genesis for color, sharpness, brightness and contrast and it measured up and in some cases out-performed the venerable refractor. Some slight wear marks on the tube, but you have to look closely to find them. And the corrector plate has some dust, but not enough to make me contemplate cleaning it. I’ll send pics to interested parties. Mechanically and optically, it’s a thing of beauty. Cosmetically it ain’t too shabby either, but there are some signs of use! Selling to help finance 11” scope and CCD.
Included with the scope is the manual and collimating wrench, 7x35 finder, case, 6” solar filter, a 1.25” adapter and 1.25” Orion diagonal, – all in very good condition for items which have been used. I’ll also throw in a very recently installed Stellarvue red-dot finder. $650 + shipping o.b.o.
