This is an early 80s Meade 1000mm F12.5 SCT telephoto that converts easily to a telescope. It's a Schmidt-Cassegrain that can be collimated--I've done it. It comes with a photo adapter that takes a t-ring for your camera, a .965 diagonal, and 25mm coated eyepiece in excellent condition. The body has a 1/4-20 mounting bracket and wide knurled ring for fast focusing. Complete with caps, manual and original packaging. MADE IN JAPAN, very good quality. Only mechanical flaw: the focusing ring slips past infinity, but with no change in the focus. The scope shows a few signs of use, but there are no chips or brassing, the glass is clear, and the black paint is excellent.
I've used this for grab-n-go astronomy, and also long-range photography. It's about 13" long with adapter but no camera. Photos are available, email me please. Asking $95 plus shipping in CONUS.
