For sale is a tripod with wooden legs that can be used with a G-8 or a G-11 head. I used this tripod with my G-11 head with about 40 pounds of scope on it and it supports the weight with no problems for astrophotography. The wooden legs are from a Vixen SP-DX mount. The dampining time with these is very fast. I have recently sold my G-11 and have decided to sell this tripod setup.

Just for reference the other tripod I own on the right has same legs on a Takahashi NJP-160 head, a good deal heavier than the G-11 head and they perform perfectly under a much greater load.

The tripod is in great condition. The pier shows some marks where the head rests on top of the pier and where the control panel is located. But once the head and control panel are in place you do not see them. The legs are in excllent condition. No dings or dents. The tray is also in excellent condition.

Asking $250 plus $20 shipping in the CONUS only. Postal money order, cashiers check or personal check (must clear first) prefered.

Got questions? Email me. I'll be glad to answer them.

Thanks for looking,
Clear, dark , steady skies.

Frank C.
