Unless otherwise specified, all items were purchased new in 1980.
*10" f/6 Meade Research Grade full thickness primary mirror. This mirror has been used to take hundreds of images over the last two decades. Check out my website "Astrophotography by Preston S Justis".
The coating is original (silicon monoxide overcoating) and very well maintained. It does show some micropitting when shining a spotlight through the back of the mirror in a dark room. There are no scratches or chips on the surface. $370.00 **SOLD**
*Meade mirror cell modified to 9 point floatation to fit 12 3/8" ID tube. $40.00
*Kenneth Novak heavy duty spider and diagonal holder (shell type) with 3/8" shaft. Mounted in the diagonal holder is an E+W Optical fused quartz low expansion secondary. Minor axis is 2.14". This secondary was purchased new in 1984 and has one tiny sleek in the coating. Otherwise, coating is in great condition. There is also a 12 volt dew zapper mounted behind secondary that I will leave in place. It has a small headphone/earphone jack type plug. $90.00
*Meade Rotating Rings to fit 12 7/8" OD tube. They work great, but could use a new finish. There are 3 holes drilled in top of each ring which held a bracket for another telescope. Each hole is approx 1/4" in dia. $130.00 **SOLD**
*2 Meade aluminum end rings for a 12 7/8" OD tube. One ring has 3 small holes drilled into end. $20.00 for both
*2 Draco Industries dust covers for a 13" OD tube. They are in fair to good condition. $20.00 for both
