I have 2 pyrex mirrors, nearly complete, that I am not likely to finish... so I'm selling for eyepiece money.
The 8" (Sold) is completely polished to nearly spherical. ROC is 112" so it will finish to nearly exactly f/7. Polish is very smooth and edge is good. It is nearly spherical with a central depression over the inner 1/3. Press and polish in short sessions and it will come spherical and be ready for figuring. It is 1 3/8" thick (Willman-Bell blank). Only imperfection is a 1/16" X 3/8" edge chip, which will not effect performance. $60 + $5 shipping.
The 7" (Sold) could be an outstanding planetary instrument. Also completely polished with smooth polish and good edge. This one has a central hill (used a flat pitch lap base... my bad)... likewise, press and polish in short sessions and then figure, tho this one would be a fair mirror just as a sphere. ROC is 118", so it is going to finish out just over f/8. Blank is a Newport Glass "thin" blank, 1.1" thick. This one would be an excellent candidate for a flex cell. Has minor 1mm X 5mm edge chip. $45 + 5 shipping.
