I purchased this at a swap table waaaay back in the late 70's.
It is an old wide field eyepiece off of a military type spotting scope. I can see the letters AO on the body and the eye lens is around 1" wide. The coatings on the eye lens are pretty worn, but I can't see any scratches. It is pretty heavy and machined to fit a 2" focuser.
I don't know what the focal length is. I'm guessing about 40mm because it gave super wide field views with a 6" f/5 RFT. This eyepiece would be great at star parties or general public viewings where you wouldn't have to worry too much about someone putting a big
fried chicken grease fingerprint on the eyelens. Just wipe it off and let the next person have a look.
I'm asking $15.00 for it and buyer pays shipping.
Thanks for looking,
