Maxxum 7000 - First auto-focus SLR camera ever created.

This was owned by my grandparents, and un-used for all of its life. Since I already have a nice Nikon, I don't need another camera laying around (not to mention I'd like to subsidize this expensive hobby of astronomy!).

Camera is in NEARLY NEW CONDITION! It has probably only had about 20 rolls of film through it in its life time. The lenses are both sharp and free of scratches, fungus, or element seperation. Both lenses have both been stored their entire lives with filters on them to protect the glass, however these filters won't be included because I still need them. Lens caps will be supplied.

I won't go into camera features in depth, but the basics are: Fully auto, shutter-priority, aperature-priority, and fully manual. You can manually set ISO speed, although the camera is equipped with DX. There is a built in motor drive, for up to around 3 frames per second.

This item will include:

-Maxxum 7000 camera (#34122910), strap, body cap (and batteries)
-50mm f1.7-22 Normal lens with back and lens caps
-35-70mm f4-22 Zoom lens with back and lens caps
-BRAND NEW electronic cable release (a $50 value)
-Fitted camera case (no bag) for use with either lens attached
-All Manuals and other assorted camera buggery such as lens tissues and what not.

One note that I forgot to mention above: There is a little battery corrosion on the removable battery clip. Minolta was very careful to make sure this problem would not affect the camera and it hasn't. I've cleaned it and taken photos, so please ask me, and I will be happy to send them to you.

I am asking $230 for total package, but I am *very* flexbile. Please do not hesitate to make an offer, even if it seems like a silly one.

~Chris
