- Modified and stiffened Meade super wedge - for much, much
smoother polar alignment.

I just sold my LX200 and have no need for this wedge. You can
see pictures of the LX200 mounted on the wedge by looking at
Astromart ad #139398. The Wedge was purchased in June 2002.

I have attached pictures that show all of the modifications
that I made. Upon request I can send you a PDF file that
describes the modifications, which, by the way, are 100%
reversible. The modifications are described by Daniel Cobb
on MAPUG. I can also supply the URL's. I can send larger
pictures If you desire them.

All the original components will be sent to you. You will get,
in addition to the wedge, a set of Scope Stuff knobs, a Scope
Stuff stiffening rod (which is attached to the wedge, see
pictures) a brand new Scope Stuff LX200 tripod mounting rod,
(replaces the original tripod rod which is ferro magnetic and
affects the compass) washers to secure said rod, and the original
allen bolts (socket head?) and allen keys.

The SuperWedge, without modifications, retails for $390 on
Anacortes. Asking $281 shipped.

Paypal accepted & preferred. Will consider other payment methods.

ConUS only.

Thanks for reading this far.
- Vince
