I am the original owner of this great starter scope. The OTA is still in good cond. There is a small dent near the bottom of the tube that was there when I bought it - and it doesn't affect the optics at all. Quite protable and easy to set up (even at -40 F in the winter time). Comes with the following:

4.5" Newtonian reflector
Original EQ mount (I think it was called a CG 2)
10mm and 25mm Celestron SMA ep's, and a moon filter.
Telerad base and finder

I don't have the original packing, but I do have a home built case
for the scope, eyepieces, counterweight and accessories. (It's very sturdy)

New this scope retails for about $249 USD, without the Telerad, so I'm thinking $150 USD

I also have for sale the following:

14mm Speers-Waler ep, exc. condition, with original box and end caps, only used about 5 times $75 USD

A CG-4 with aluminum legs, non-motorized and no polar scope. If you want this mount for the scope, I also have a set of custom rings made by Ken Dauzat. I will sell the rings with the OTA only if you want, or the CG 4 and the rings.

CG 4 $100 USD
Custom rings $100 USD

Shipping is negotiable. I'm up in northern BC, Canada so I would need to check on the cost. More pictures available on request.

Make me an offer if you are interested. Thanks for looking and clear skies ! John B
