I have a COMPAQ Presario 1200(and it is OLD!but still works) that has a 9 pin serial port that is Com1. I run a SBIG STV from the port but I also want to run my LX200 mount at the same time from one of the two USB ports. I have the adapter and driver from Meade that makes the USB a virtual RS232. I have tried The Sky, Guide8 and Earth Centered Universe in an attempt to communicate with the mount, but have not had success.
If anyone knows how to make this work, I sure would appreciate the help.
