I liked this little night vision scope so much I am buying NV binoculars to replace it. Awesome for meteors etc. even with light pollution, with the super fast f/1.2 lens.

ATN AMT/Nightstar with removeable "c" mount lens, claimed 35,000x light multiplication, Gen 1 tube (manufacturer calls it "high resolution Gen 1+").

It uses a standard photo battery that lasts 10-20 hours (I will send it with a good used battery).

It is as small as I've seen them and weighs 9.5 ozs with lens.

It has a "c" mount (standard cine or cctv) 6 (9) Element F1.2 35mm lens with a 20 deg. field of view. I will send the c-mount doubler/teleconverter ($50-60 new) with it, as well as the lens cap with pinhole, carrycase and manual.

With a "t" to "c" converter it can be used on your telescope, like a camera. I can sell mine for an extra $25.

I recommend it to be used alone (you must cover the always-on illuminator) for meteor showers etc. (even here near NYC), but it really needs a fast (f/4?) scope to work well on a telescope; all I have are f/10-f/12, and it was not well suited to them, i.e. no SCTs.

The only negative I found was some distortion on the eyepiece. It is in excellent condition.

For more info do a Google search for ATN nightstar or atncorp nightstar.

it sells new for $180-200, plus $50 for the doubler.

$140 + shipping and insurance, add $25 for the "c" to "t" if you want it.

NOTE- the tube works fine, but can be destroyed if run in daylight or in bright light! Don't be tempted, wait until it is dark! The sale will be FINAL, no returns, so it must be shipped insured!

Please, only "5 star" Astromarters with 10+, I don't want any problems with this easily damaged phototube.
