Meade ED 127APO. This is the first scope I owned after a 20 year hiatus from observing. I am the original owner and purchased the scope in the 1993/94 time frame. It has provided wonderful lunar and planetary viewing and does a respectable job on deep sky. During the Shoemaker-Levy impact several folks were lucky enough to view jet-black impact scars against a razor-sharp Jupiter through this scope.
I have used the scope with a Takahashi Twinview bino viewer (not included with the scope) and it delivers sharp 3-D planetary viewing and respectable deep sky viewing reaching focus with AND without the 2x built-in barlow.
The scope includes the original 600 mount/tripod with the 1697 "goto" computer drive, original Meade diagonal with the 2" to 1 1/4" adapter, a Vixen Lanthum 20 mm eyepiece, JMI motofocus and hand controller and the original 8x50 straight through finder. $2400 plus shipping.
