1.5 months old 8 inch SVD with tracking drive motor, 25mm plossl, 9mm plossl, 2x barlow, 6x30 finder. Minor blemish somewhere!?!
Bought to compare against smaller 6" MN.
Not the size of the aperature, but how you use the light!
MN61 yields much better images, of most everything.
Still though, this telescope showed the Ring Nebulae in Lyrae easily in city skies. Moon very contrasty...and too darn bright to view without the included moonfilter.
Selling to purchase an LXD55. Wife says another scope would be three too many.
Trade with cash toward any recently purchased LXD55, especially UHTC. Achro, Newt, even SCat.
Conversely, I would also consider a CCD in trade, plus some of my greenbacks of course.
Check Orion for more pictures, specs.
