This particular scope comes with the hard case, the clamshell ring and a 90 degree diagonal. It does NOT come with any eyepieces, nor does it include a mount.

Here is the best info I can provide on its condition. The OTA itself has no scratches, dents or dings. The lens has no scratches or fungus (I live in a semi-arid climate). I have taken this to star parties and people have been impressed with its performance. Textbook perfect star tests, splitting Epsilon Lyrae is no problem at all.

I am selling this because I just received an Astro-Physics Stowaway and can't justify two scopes of such similar size and performance.

The lens has some very minor cleaning marks (from the previous owner). I have a camel-hair brush that I have used to occasionally tease away dust on the lens. I have never applied any cleaning solution to the lens, but like I said, the previous owner must have cleaned it at least once. The cleaning marks do not affect performance, in fact I could not get them to show up in the photo I took. The photo of the lens shows some dust.

The diagonal was sold to me as a Televue diagonal, but it actually has no brand marks at all that I could find. I have used it happily for four years. The diagonal has some marks on the inserted barrel where the set screw has scratched it, but that is really being picky, you have to take it out to see them.

I have put this side-by-side with a 4" Tak and now with the Stowaway, and it holds its own well. I won't sell it as "Mint" or "Like New In Box" because that would not be true, but it performs as well as any TV-101 I've seen.

I have seen similar scopes go for up to $2,000, I am asking $1,800.

Please email me only, I will be out of town and unable to answer phone calls for the next two weeks. Shipping will be actual shipping charges.
