Give away of a Byers 22.5" 718 tooth Research drive w/ worm, housing, & motor, first $1900 can have it. Here are the details.

Last one, I have no other gears for sale, as I have decided to keep one 18" gear for myself.

This gear is Ed Byers double sized 11 5/16" (which is 8 times the volume). Specs include:

22.5" by 3/4" thick by 718 teeth (twice a 359 tooth)

includes Byers worm housing and matching worm

includes Bodine sync motor

Optional 3.5" clutch (a $1200 value), or make reasonable offer, or buy without clutch.

Here's the final details.

The worm needs to be replaced, a $400 cost, Ed Byers quoted me 30 days. I do not want to
get in the middle of this, it will cost you $400 to have a new worm made, and I will
provide Ed's phone number for confirmation. If I am to take care of this, cost is $600
because I have to spend time which I do not have.

The gear is perfect, except for two very small nicks on the edge (off the tooth area),
they will not effect performance as there is no worm contact.

The 18" gear sale fell through, so I am keeping it (already stated). This is the very
very last gear that I have and I honestly do not believe it will last very long since
it is huge, and it is a giveaway price. This is a $5000 drive system, and I really doubt
that this gear will be available past Monday, but you never know.

Email if interested, or call (408)822-2529 (weekdays, my number at work).

Pickup from San Jose CA area, or add $35 to ship anywhere in the USA.
