Hi, I have for sale a TMB 105/650/ f6.2 in a lightweight Vixen tube that tips in at 9.5 lbs. on my bathroom scale. Included are the standard 8 x 50 finder with dioptor type focusing, bracket, lens cover, 2” to 1 ¼ “ reducer that goes into the back of the focuser, rings and felt lined dew shield.
A Televue 2” Everbrite diagonal (dpc-2002) and a 2” to 1 ¼” eyepiece adapter
is also included. Both the diagonal and adapter are the newer style that has the
Brass compression rings, the back of the scope at the focuser also has a 2” brass compression ring.
Optical performance is the usual high quality you would expect from a TMB apo, Mr. Back has told me there is absolutely no difference is optical performance between the Vixen tubed TBM and the cnc model. The Vixen tube model is much lighter and not bulky, I had a cnc model so I can say that from first hand experience. The coatings are perfect and yes they pass the flashlight test <g>
The TMB is about eight months old and I am the original owner, it was purchased directly from Mr. Back, serial # 074
Condition is just as it was when it came out of the box.
Selling to finance another apo.

If you want to check the price for a new TMB set up this way, it is a little over $2600.
My price is $2000. + s&h
I will email my phone # upon request.

Thank you, Gary

Sorry that the photo does not show the finder & diagonal but this is the only photo of one that I have.
