These are the most incredible lunar works I've ever seen. They are Nasa publications, SP-206, and SP-241. They are both distinctive from each other and it's worth having both (if possible). The SP-206 contain the complete photographic work of the LO program including near and far side of the moon. It's title is, "Lunar Orbiter Photographic atlas of the moon". The book is 10" x 17" with 675 full page photographic plates of the lunar surface. Condition is very good for a 30 year old work. Their is some discoloration along the edge of the cover and some spotting on the introduction pages but the photographic section is excellent. The SP-241 is the same size book and the cover is in slightly better condition. It's title is "Atlas and Gazetteer of the Near Side of the Moon". As compared the the SP-206, it covers only the nearside of the moon in 404 photographic plates. The biggest difference is that the photographs are 2/3 the size of the page to allow for listing the lunar features of that particular photograph. The lunar features are then labeled on the photograph itself like a typical lunar atlas. If you have a very high quality instrument then you've probably found that there are no atlases available that can duplicate what you see....these do. The price for the SP-206 is $220 shipped and the SP-241 is $200 firm.
