I have a very nice XT8 about a year old that I want to Trade for another larger Dob 10"-12.5". If your're tired of lugging your Big dob outside in two trips...Consider the (Grab & Go)- 8" portability. This scope has been well taken care of and has had the S&T suggested mods done (plastic washers, felt pads under mirror and loosened mirror clips). The views are very good..typical of XT8-Orion Quality.
I have replaced the 6x30 basic finder with an Orion 9x50 Correct image version(2-weeks ago). The original Sirius ep are long gone too. But, I will include a Televue (13mm) plossl (Very good ep, see ratings). The scope works very well as I mentioned. The only reason I want to Trade is that I have "Mild" aperature fever. I am willing to set-up a larger scope and to pay the difference ($$$)for the right Dob.... Note: I live in SE Washington State. A trade needs to be within a 250 mile radius..Seattle/Portland area, ect. I will deliver in this range. Original Boxes are gone..& shipping too costly.
I will be unable to make the trade until after the 4th of July...due to job/work load. So,everyone think about it. Let's set something up.
Thanks----Doug
