TeleVue 4 X POWERMATE (2 inch):

New 4-lens image amplifier provides high powers from long focal length eyepieces. Great for those of us who enjoy the long eye relief of 2 inch eyepieces and also want to use them for high power!

Fully multicoated; blackened lens edges and internal antireflection threading for excellent contrast.

Threaded for 48mm filters; corrected to f/4 for use with fast focal ratio reflectors.

Powermate includes other Tele Vue touches such as a safety undercut on the chrome barrel, and captive lock screws that can't fall out.

Dobsonian/Newtonian owners using TeleVue's Paracorr coma corrector should first insert the 4x Powermate into the focuser, then the Paracorr into the 4x Powermate.

Like new. I no longer have the box as I keep all my eyepieces in a Tele Vue case for safety. Caps are, of course, included.

Paid $265; asking $199. Buyer to pay shipping.

To my knowledge this piece has rarely (if ever) been listed for this low a price on Astromart. If you’ve been thinking of adding this exquisite piece to your collection this may be the time to pick one up at a bargain price.
