To quote the master himself:
The Micro-Sliders are specifically designed to be used in situations where the lowest possible profile is necessary. Micro-Sliders work well with Celestron/Meade f/6.3 and f/3.3 focal reducers on commercial Schmidt-Cassegrain (SC) telescopes. The front input port's 2" threaded female ring assembly (right side in photo) screws on to standard 2" SC visual backs. The rear port is a standard threaded male T-adapter that directly accepts your 35mm camera's T-ring, or the included VSE special adapters for 2" adapter tube or CCD Camera. The top slide-mirror port is 1.25" format. Micro-Sliders offer the shortest possible profile on the market - 2 inches!
I tried the Meade flipper, and there is no comparison for rigidity. This one can carry the load of an ST-8/CFW8 like it was a walk in the park.
No longer being manufactured and sold at $395 new, this one is $195 shipped to your CONUS location.
