Older model Great Polaris with dual axis drives and controller; the drives are from a CG-5, but they bolt up just fine.
The unit comes with a polar alignment scope; however, this one is not illumninated.
The tripod is aluminum, but modified a bit: The legs are filled with Portland cement, a Lymax leg-spreader has been employed, and the legs were drilled and the brace armn assembly has been through-bolted to withstand the legs spreader. More stiff than the wooden legs that came on the mount!
The unit has a home-made 10lb. counter weight; it is as easy to use as the stock model
The unit comes with the standard battery pack and a multi-voltage AC adapter; the 6-volt setting works just fine.
A great mount for a small to medium scope
