BRAND NEW: 24" Byers Research Drive w/ Clutch & MUST SEE photos.

Don't be fooled, this is a genuine Byers Research 24" (20" shown in the photo) drive system complete with
a massive Byers made clutch and worm housing (not some aftermarket clutch made by someone else).
Take a look at the clutch plate, it's a whopping 12" in diameter !!!

NOTE: The 24" gear being sold is identical except that it is larger, and is a blem (a few very small dimples outside of the gear area).
This is being sold for a friend who has it, motor is not included, otherwise it is complete. You should contact me, but can speak with
him if you need to.

Take a look at the inner precision ball bearings !!! They are the finest and highest precision available.

No flimsy set screw clutch, and definitely not like some of the other disasters you have already owned and cursed.

Did you know that there is over $1500 of materials alone into this unit. Add it all up,
the plained aluminum 3/4" plate, the annealing, 40 hours of machining just to cut the gear,
then comes the clutch, the worm housing (it has $300 in ball bearings alone), annodizing,
plus the bearings for the clutch assembly. Plus without several hundred thousand dollars
of machining equipment, one like this could not be made. And without Ed Byers, equipment alone
could not be made a gear like this. It takes all, Ed Byers, his equipment, his experience, and
a lot of money if you were able to have one made.

Now for the reality. You can't get one of these made for under $5000 to $6000,
now you should understand why.

Now the unheard dream come true, this gear is being offered at a really BLOW OUT price,
the FIRST $3500 takes it, and this includes shipping anywhere in the USA.

Here's the specs:

24" diameter, 3/4" thick, 572 teeth

3.501" clutch (for 3.500" shaft)

spring loaded worm housing

no motor

Again, the first $3500 takes it (includes ALL shipping in the USA).
