Do you want to lighten the load?

Take off those counter weights!

Believe it or not, most refractors are manufactured with heavy
steel dew shields (Not aluminum) which can make the refractor tube top heavy. Now why would a refractor OTA be made from aluminum and the dew shield made from steel? Who knows...

We have been asked by several refractor owners to "Lighten the load"
and would like to make our shields available to all refractor owners.

We can custom fit any refractor of any size.

Our flexible dew prevention shields are super light weight and made from flexible ABS plastic.

The special star field finish will dress any refractor for the occasion. Black felt lined interior will help absorb moisture and prevent stray light from reaching the optics.

Please visit our web site for more information on our shields.

The following refractor shields are available:

*Meade* *Celestron* *Synta* *Skywatcher* *Televue*

Credit cards accepted!

Dew it in Style!

Pictured below is a 6" Skywatcher refractor which came from the factory with a steel dew shield. It has now been replaced with an Astrozap dew shield. Goodbye counter weights!

Thanks for the pic Mike!
