I am parting with my FCT-150 guider. FC-100N (4-inch f/10 doublet fluorite) from 1990. There are only 5 of these exotic refractors in the United States and only 100 were ever built from 1988 to 1991. This is model number #9005. Comes complete with Telrad, Takahashi 6x30 finder, Tak tube ring and 2" inch Takahashi adapter with two big lock screws. This refractor will perform to the highest standards you can pit against any 4" objective. By all means, a benchmark of world class optical excellence. Has that "snap-focus" effect with a black background that you will not believe!
The resolution of this FC-100N pared my now gone TMB-100 f/800 when placed side by side on Jupiter, Saturn and Izar. Any color you experience will be the fault of the ocular! This is a pure apochromat refractor. Lens cap (not the lens shade) shows very very minor wear and a few, practically invisible, paint chips on the underside of the Rack-and-Pinion focuser. $2900 shipped. I'm sorry no trades. I am financing another rare Tak. I will provide photos over any part of the telescope that the buyer has questions over.
