Early 1980's vintage C11 tube on a incredible Mathis 400
The C11 tube shows its age (cork gaskets dried out,
e.g.) but still manages to produce good images for an SCT.
High transmission corrector and high reflectivity coatings.
Includes counter weight set, but no diagonal mirror.
The Mathis 400 mount is about 300 lbs of sand-cast aluminum
and precision machining. Dissambles into parts no more than 45lbs
each. Incredibly solid. Precision worm, vernier
setting circles, tangent Dec slo-mo (with motor). Includes
steel pier for permament attachment to pad, or to rolling base.
Stainless steel fasteners, high precision bearings throughout.
Approx 200 lb payload capacity! Will last several lifetimes.
I have used this mount extensively for 15 years. I love it; but
illness forces sale. Pick in Denver CO area only.
