This is a great Astro camera (as we all know!). I now have an OM-4 and am using the cable release as a lock-up device so I don't need this camera anymore.
All the features work on the camera and I've tested its meter against my OM-4; it matches its readings. This isn't a professional test, but the meter showed the same null reading for both cameras. Yes, I used the same lens on both, same f-stop, same shutter speed, same object at the same distance. For astro work you won't use the meter anyway; at least I didn't! One flaw: The shutter speed ring doesn't have real positive stops on it. It kind of slides through the speeds with a faint click as it passes each one. I suspect a ball indent & spring arrangement has gone weak. The speeds work and are what the ring says they are.
The case is real leather, nicely lined with velvet, the snaps work and it shows normal wear (two scuff marks on the back and one on the base). It is a very handsome dark brown case with the Olympus logo on the front.
This camera comes with a 50mm Zuiko 1:1.8 Olympus lens with pinch-on lens cap. No strap is included; people seem to like to buy ones that are most comfortable for them.
If I were you, I'd buy this camera with astrophotography in mind. It isn't a point-and-shoot, that's for sure! I have taken hundreds of great photos with this camera but I decided I needed something a little more automatic (but not totally automatic) so I bought the OM-4.
It is yours, as described, for $140, including shipping and insurance. Money orders only, please. Thanks for looking!
