For sale: University Optics 8 x 50 right-angle finder. Orange tube. Helical focuser. Eyepiece screws onto the diagonal. Eyepiece does not have crosshairs.
Also includes a mounting bracket, I think made by Celestron. Mounting bracket attaches to OTA via one foot and two bolts. Rear mounting ring is a friction assembly using a rubber O-ring that fits on the finder and then into the mounting ring. Front mounting ring is the standard three screw arrangement for alignment. Mounting holds alignment very well.
Optics on the finder are good, except for moderate blemish (corrosion?) on diagonal mirror - the blemish is off axis, so doesn't really affect finding objects if at all. Cosmetically, the finder is not good - has many wide scratches on the exterior. I have no caps for the front or rear.
