FOR SALE:
2" Filters, Prices as marked are Firm

These Filters are all in nice condition - they have been used but well-cared for.  The highly reflective coatings are in fine shape but will show every spec of dust, etc. so, 40% off the prices as new.  See photo - Filters come with the cases/boxes as shown, descriptions below, L-R.

TeleVue 2” Bandmate Nebustar UHC Filter - $175<<SOLD>>
Produced in partnership with Astronomik of Germany with the tight tolerances and exacting standards that both companies are known for, the 2" Tele Vue Bandmate Nebustar Type II UHC Filter is designed as a superior general-purpose nebula filter that increases contrast and enables better nighttime viewing of nebulae by blocking a majority of the wavelengths of light pollution in order to gain increased detail. Unlike conventional UHC filters, this one also blocks red wavelengths that are normally allowed to pass through and interfere with clear viewing. This filter passes the H-beta emission lines at 485nm and oxygen emission lines at 505nm with a peak transmission of greater than 96% to brighten nebulae while darkening the background sky for increased contrast and definition of your subject. This version of the Nebustar filter is set in a 2" aluminum ring to enable its use with larger eyepieces and accessories.

TeleVue 2” Bandmate OIII Filter - $150
Designed and produced in partnership with Astronomik of Germany with the tight tolerances and exacting standards that both companies are known for, the 2" Tele Vue Bandmate Oxygen-III Filter passes light from doubly ionized oxygen atoms. As such, it is great for viewing planetary nebulae and supernovae remnants. The filter bandpass is centered on the 500nm wavelength with a greater than 96% throughput transmission. It is effective for viewing objects that take up the entire field of view—even when using Tele Vue's wide-angle eyepieces. This version of the O-III filter is set in a 2" aluminum ring to enable its use with larger eyepieces and accessories.

 Baader 2” Neodymium & IR Filter - $75 <<SOLD>>
The Baader Moon & Skyglow Neodymium Filter are two filters in one: Neodymium contrast enhancement filter and UV/IR blocker.  The best visual and photographic filter for contrast enhancement for all telescopes, without loss of image brightness!  The effect of the element neodymium as filter material is very impressive. When added to optical glass, it enhances contrast, enhances the red colour in the image (especially with Mars and Jupiter) and it darkens the spectral region which is particularly marked by street lamp light, which is the biggest contributor to the nightly "Skyglow".  Planoptically polished and MC-coated – with IR-cut coatings!, without any loss of sharpness as a single filter in front of a binocular or be used for afocal projection with digital cameras (far from the focal point!)  The IR spectral range is blocked making stars much sharper when used with dSLRs.

Lumicon 2” Hydrogen Beta Filter - $100<<SOLD>>
Lumicon 2” Hydrogen-β Filter is also known as the Horsehead Nebula filter. This filter isolates only the hydrogen-β line of the spectrum (486nm) in a narrow pass-band just 9nm wide, providing maximum contrast.  Aids in viewing of extremely faint nebulous objects such as the Horsehead, Cocoon and California Nebulae. In many cases, the Lumicon Hydrogen-Beta Filter is the ONLY way to view these objects. Recommended for 8″ or larger telescopes.  Lumicon filters remain the world’s best and strictest quality control standards are employed throughout the production process. Each Lumicon Hydrogen-β Filter is individually inspected and proudly inscribed with the percentage of light transmittance of the H-Beta emission line.
